About Todd & Ronni
Image

Although Todd & Ronni are still new to the national circuit, they have already amassed over 50 awards at events all over the country such as the National Jitterbug Championships, the Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown, Lonestar Championships, Midwest Lindyfest, Lindy on the Rocks and more! Their most recent accomplishment was joining the list of international instructors for iDance.net and completing over 65 lessons in blues, lindy hop, aerials and performance routines.

They have a real passion for teaching and their main focus is staying true to the roots of of the original dances, even while creating new material. Their studies and classes range from sultry vintage drag blues to balboa to performance lindy with crazy aerials...so crazy that they have both, at different times, managed to kick each other in the face while dancing...but they are past that now.

On the dance floor, they are known for their dynamic styling and musicality, as well as being fun and inspiring to watch, plus you never know when someone's feet will leave the ground. Off the dance floor, Ronni attempts to be Todd's filter, but it doesn't always work out. When they aren't dancing, they enjoy pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. They aren't much into yoga, but get down with champagne.

--------------------------------

"Our filming session with Todd and Ronni from Denver was a huge success. Their professionality and great attitude made this shoot one of the most productive in iDance's history, and has certainly raised the bar on what kind of quality we will be expecting from instructors in the future. Any dance event organizer should strongly consider adding Todd and Ronni to their roster, as these guys are workhorses that have proven to us that they are willing to do what it takes to turn ideas into action. Furthermore, the lessons they filmed added to iDance's library a significant collection of vital swing dance repertoire that will surely be appreciated by iDance's worldwide student base. Thanks, guys!" - www.idance.net

Here's what some of their students have said about them:

"I just wanted to say "Thank You"!  The classes we were able to take from you at the Iowa Hawkeye Lindy Fest were fantastic.  You helped us beyond belief in the aerials class.  Your ability to break down the moves, see where we needed help and convey how to fix it, was great!  And thanks for helping us out with the equipment.  You guys went above and beyond." ~ Rae, IA

"I am just writing to thank you for being so nice and accesible to us. Thank you for giving us the motivation we needed to help us keep excited about our own endeavors, and to help us become better teachers ourselves.  You guys are really awesome. And thank you for being such amazing people (on top of being amazing instructors)." ~ Eric & Stephanie, NC

"It was entirely clear to me that Todd & Ronni excel as instructors. They've obviously put a lot of time into learning how to teach, and how to target material at an appropriate level for the class. I would have no reservations recommending them as instructors to anyone -- and that's not something I say about everyone. Todd & Ronni Thanks for one of the best sets of classes I've taken in my dancing lifetime." ~ Brent, MN

"Thank you once again for a wonderful workshop.  It was very good to hear another perspective on some of the basic moves I've been taught.  The workshops definitely kicked my ass both mentally and physically, but I learned a lot." ~ Anton, WI

"You two were my favorite instructors at the whole event. After your first class, I changed all the classes I had planned to take so I could take the rest of yours all weekend!" ~ Julie, GA

"I have never felt safer learning aerials than in your class this past weekend. It was the first time I ever even tried aerials in a group and the first time I ever saw everyone in the class go for it like that. Thanks so much for all the encouragement. I hope you guys come back next year!" ~ Jason, FL
